AMPECO’s Petar Georgiev selected among Forbes’ 30 under 30

Nominated alongside the brightest movers and shakers, our Head of Strategy paves the way for our electric future

What could make our own Petar Georgiev’s year go from great to excellent? Just two months ago our Head of Strategy and Partnerships was named “EV Under 30 Star” during the EV World Congress. His work left a big impact on our company – in 2021 alone he contributed to AMPECO becoming the first Bulgarian member of smartEN, Eurelectric and the SME Climate Hub. Now his efforts are recognized in a broader business perspective – Petar was selected among Forbes Bulgaria’s 30 under 30 in the Technology category. So this is what a great year looks like!

About Forbes’ 30 under 30

Globally Forbes’ 30 under 30 was established 10 years ago to celebrate the world’s brightest young entrepreneurs, leaders, and stars. Over the years members of this visionaires club have become Spotify’s founder Daniel Ek, musician Miley Cyrus, basketball star LeBron James, and many, many more.

Forbes’ Bulgaria edition started publishing its 30 under 30 selection 9 years ago. Being nominated is high validation for enthusiastic professionals and joining the global community of driven entrepreneurs and social activists offers a world of possibilities. Petar Georgiev is an internationally recognised e-mobility professional focused on smart cloud-based solutions for electric vehicle charging. Prior to joining AMPECO in 2021, he had a multi-year stint as the EU E-mobility Lead at Eurelectric, the European trade body of the utility industry.

The timing of this award means a lot to me. I recently returned back to Bulgaria and I already see my efforts being rewarded. This recognition is surely motivational and shows I’m headed in the right direction.
