RE+ is North America’s largest renewable energy event produced by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). It is a catalyst for industry innovation that’s supercharging growth in the clean energy economy. On September 19-22, at the Anaheim Convention Center, 19,000+ professionals from all industry segments, over 700 exhibitors, and аward-winning political commentator, writer, comedian, and event host Hasan Minhaj will come together to advance the clean energy industries.
The partnership between SEPA and SEIA accelerates business growth by uniting the energy marketplace for networking, education, and innovation. Unlike other energy industry events, all proceeds support the expansion of the US solar energy market through SEIA’s and SEPA’s year-round research and education activities and advocacy efforts.
Overcoming EV Charging and Adoption Barriers for Fleets and Consumers
With more than 20 million electric vehicles expected to be on the road in the US by 2030, the key hurdle to EV adoption is no longer range anxiety – it’s a lack of EV charging infrastructure.
Even though EVs hit a historic 4.6% share of the overall market in the US in early 2022, significant barriers still exist for a large portion of the population. Workshops and discussions will be held on ways to increase EV market share over the next five years and various programs that can help buyers adopt EVs and participate in managed charging or utility rate programs.
Going beyond solar, RE+ Infrastructure focuses on energy distribution, incorporating electric vehicles, charging stations, microgrids, energy security, and other technologies adapting the grid for the renewable energy transition. It features a fully-functioning “live” microgrid, power conversion equipment, energy management systems, building and home smart energy products, and more.
