PAZ Charge has an exclusive focus on building a nationwide ultra-fast charging network and is well-positioned to achieve this goal due to the access to a large number of key locations in Israel (already utilized by the PAZ gas stations and convenience stores).
PAZ Charge’s strategy is based on the concept of delivering “EV charging service availability,” which can be broken down into a combination of several elements:

PAZ Charge integrated EV charging into the existing PAZ Yellow mobile app:
- PAZ customer loyalty program provides a certain pay back into the customer’s digital wallet, for purchases in additional PAZ group businesses
- The concept of combining several business offerings under one mobile experience is known as a super-app
PAZ Charge wanted to follow established technology procedures and use the available tech resources:
- Before provisioning a new version of the CPMS software to the production environment, it needs to be thoroughly tested – that’s why the company wanted to have a separate UAT environment set up
- The company has an internal developers team that is experienced in dealing with API to integrate systems, source data, and automate processes
