By offering chargers with capacities varying from 22 kW to 150 kW, Remo caters to both en-route and destination charging scenarios. Remo focuses on locations where individuals spend 30 minutes to 3-4 hours, such as sports centres, shopping malls, health centres, hospitals, and public parking lots. It also seizes opportunities in en-route charging, ensuring a comprehensive EV driver experience and strategic coverage.

Remo puts the EV user at the centre of its offering, embodying a business philosophy rooted in the concept of “convenience charging”. The company realizes this vision through its user-friendly mobile app and a network of accessible and reliable charging stations supported by the latest technologies.

To accelerate its business growth, Remo Mobility was looking for a strong, long-term partnership with a trusted technology provider. Fully branded EV driver mobile application

AMPECO provided Remo with a fully branded EV driver mobile application, reinforcing the company’s brand identity. The app allowed EV drivers a convenient charge point search, availability information and management of the charging experience at each location. The app serves as a valuable tool for gathering user behaviour data for Remo to improve their service offering in the future.

Flexible billing and invoicing engine

Remo has implemented dynamic EV charging tariffs as well as coupons and vouchers for various locations and user groups. They conduct extensive tests to determine their effectiveness for marketing purposes and identify reliable scaling strategies. In addition, partners could configure automatic receipts and invoices sent to EV drivers at the end of each charging session, with the partner’s name as the supplier, made possible by AMPECO’s invoicing and billing module.

Out-of-the-box and custom integrations

AMPECO provided Remo with an out-of-the-box integration with a global payment solution provider for their operations. But Remo also has the flexibility to switch to preferred payment gateways and easily adapt to regional market conditions. AMPECO’s ready integration with Gireve’s roaming hub aligns with Remo’s “convenience charging” concept, adding significant value to the EV driver experience. The company also relies on AMPECO’s integration with EVA Global, which provides first-level support for EV drivers throughout Spain.

For their B2B clients, Remo provides access to AMPECO’s partner portal to give them visibility over chargers, tariffs, and users. This functionality has proven to be a competitive advantage during negotiations with potential site hosts.

Integration with external tools using AMPECO’s API
