AMPECO & Octopus

When you enable the integration with Octopus’ electricity tariffs, the AMPECO platform pulls the data consistently and reliably, allowing you to design and implement various pricing models for the charging services you offer. You can use dynamic or off-peak tariffs from Octopus to create custom tariffs on the AMPECO platform.

Smart home charging application

By activating smart charging with Octopus dynamic optimized or off-peak tariffs, your customers get the option to select which tariff to use and plan when to charge their EV in order to save costs on charging sessions. The mobile app’s smart charging settings offer the flexibility to optimize home charging by selecting the lowest prices, desired charging times, or the amount of kWH to charge.

Commercial charging application

You can use Octopus tariffs to create custom Energy Time-of-Use tariffs that you can apply to specific charge points, user groups, or partners. For enhanced control and flexibility, AMPECO allows you to add a markup on top of the dynamic electricity rates. You can specify this markup as a percentage per kilowatt-hour (kWh), a fixed fee per kWh, or apply different markup with different prices for various time slots throughout the day.
