Addressing urban challenges requires dialogue and cooperation between the public and private sectors. Under the motto “Moving Cities to the Future,” this cooperation will be the focus of the POLIS Leadership Summit organized by POLIS Network, bringing together leaders in government, business, advocacy, and research.
For the second year, POLIS expands its event calendar with the Leadership Summit, this time hosted in one of Europe’s most sustainable locations – Sweden’s capital Stockholm. The event gives the floor to representatives of local and regional authorities and industry experts to share and discuss the way forward toward a greener and more sustainable transportation system. The Leadership Summit is part of POLIS’s wider network of events, among which is the Annual POLIS Conference.
Regional and local authorities represent one of the supporting pillars needed for a successful transition to sustainable and accessible transport. Summit participants will include thought leaders and decision-makers coming from governmental, private, advocacy, and research organizations.
Upscaling Electromobility is the topic that Petar Georgiev, Head of Strategic Alliances and Sustainability at AMPECO, will contribute to in a panel discussion during the POLIS Leadership Summit in Stockholm. As one of the high-level speakers at the summit, Petar Georgiev will highlight critical topics such as:
- Experiences across the world of managing smart charging processes – implementations in Europe and beyond
- Three levels of grid management – charger, building, power system
- Incentives for drivers to charge sustainably – flexible and dynamic tariffs
Even if this is only the second edition of the Summit, POLIS has extensive experience in organizing such events with its Annual POLIS Conference that started in 2008. These conferences are among the most important events in the field of transport policy as they bring together the people who make the decisions and lead policy-wise the transition towards green transport.
