Head of Strategy and Partnerships at AMPECO
Petar Georgiev is an internationally recognised e-mobility professional focused on smart cloud-based solutions for electric vehicle charging. Only aged 28, Petar is now leading the Strategy & Partnerships work at AMPECO. He assumed the position in June 2021 following a multi-year stint as the EU E-mobility Lead at Eurelectric, the European trade body of the utility industry.
In his current role, Petar has shown excellent capability in forging industry-wide alliances and partnerships. This has already contributed to AMPECO’s continuous emergence as a market leader in its sector.
Following his addition to the team, Petar has successfully integrated AMPECO in sectoral organisations locally and globally. At AMPECO, he is responsible for the strategic positioning and growth of the organisation internationally vis-a-vis third parties. Through Petar’s efforts, AMPECO now actively contributes to the development of open standards for EV charging in the context of international organisations such as the Open Charge Alliance and the EV Roaming Foundation. Another great example was his leadership to position AMPECO as the first Bulgaria-based company in the SME Climate Hub. He is also responsible for AMPECO’s sustainability efforts.
